Cultural Transition ProcessSM

Overview
The Partners In Leadership® Cultural Transition Process assists leaders in enrolling their people in the process of Accelerating The Cultural Transition® in their team, department, division, or organization. The Cultural Transition Process guides the management team in developing a set of Cultural Beliefs® that prompt people to think and act in the manner necessary to achieve organizational results. The process accelerates alignment, buy-in, and ownership for the new culture at all levels in the organization. A key to accelerating the change is found in the foundation of accountability which is built throughout the process and helps people look internally at what they personally need to do to own the change and demonstrate the Cultural Beliefs.

Objectives Of The Training
  • Apply The Results Pyramid® to the day-to-day operations of the organization.
  • Assess the widely-held existing beliefs and past experiences which provide the basis for the current culture.
  • Develop Focused Feedback® and create alignment around the Cultural Beliefs necessary to achieve key organizational results.
  • Utilize the Steps To Accountability® and associated models to create accountability and ownership for living the Cultural Beliefs and operating Above The Line.®
  • Identify key stops and starts in terms of actions that demonstrate the Cultural Beliefs.

Partners In Leadership® Cultural Transition Executive Process
The following is a description of the key activities involved in the Partners In Leadership Cultural Transition Executive Process:

Cultural Assessment: Partners In Leadership will conduct an assessment of the management team culture by interviewing selected members of the executive team by phone and/or written survey. These interviews will be designed to capture perceptions of the current "beliefs" and "experiences" of the organization and the respective management teams. These interviews are also designed to identify the specific cultural shifts that must occur in order to achieve key business results.

Executive Debrief of Cultural Assessment and Recommendations: Partners In Leadership will provide an executive presentation of the findings gathered through the assessment of the respective organizational leader. The executive presentation will be organized and presented around common themes. In addition, recommendations will be presented on how to proceed with the respective two-day senior management meeting. During the executive presentation Partners In Leadership will provide specific coaching for the organizational leader in preparation of their role in the two-day meeting and in the subsequent implementation of the larger Cultural Transition Process.

Two-Day Workshop: The two-day workshop will be specifically designed to assist the organizational leaders in defining the desired management culture in the context of Cultural Beliefs and actions where personal and collective ownership drive improvements in organizational performance and business results. During the meeting, Partners In Leadership will facilitate the group in looking at how the management team needs to shift in terms of how its members both think and act. This meeting will create an aligned view of the current culture as well as the desired culture and will identify the experiences which will be essential to needed cultural transition and its associated implementation. A specific agenda will be designed based on the interviews and in consultation with the respective organizational leader which focuses on both content as well as skills associated with accelerated cultural transition.

Partners In Leadership® Train-The-Facilitator Training
The facilitator training prepares client employees to conduct the one-day Journey To The Emerald CitySM Cultural Transition Workshop for their own organization. The training prepares internal facilitators to enroll people in the process of creating the necessary cultural transition. Facilitators are trained in Partners In Leadership experiential learning technology presented in six scripted modules that comprise the one-day workshop. The facilitator training is an effective tool for developing the leadership skills necessary to create greater accountability and for developing "process champions" and/or "high potential" people. The facilitator training can be accomplished through a one-day workshop or a "Quick Start" self-study program.
