Instructional Designer



Description

Perform activities required to maintain the instructional integrity of all company training materials.


Responsibilities

  1. Design and develop instructional material for client training that supports the organization’s training models.
  2. Design and develop eLearning solutions using sound instructional design techniques.
  3. Consult and collaborate with clients to design and develop custom training modules.
  4. Manage course development from analysis to implementation and evaluation.
  5. Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to increase the quality and effectiveness of course content, presentation, and delivery based on user feedback and industry research in the areas of adult learning methodology and the delivery of Web-based training.
  6. Provide input on new tools and specifications.
  7. Collaborate and consult with developers and graphic artist for new or proposed instructional strategies and features within and across all training materials.
  8. Design and deliver presentations and/or demonstrations to internal and external clients.

Position Requirements

  1. Knowledge:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional design, Instructional Technology, Adult Education, and/or related discipline.
  2. Experience:
    • Three to five years experience as an instructional designer in a business setting, including experience in one or more of the following areas: video, interactive video, multimedia, on-line documentation, Web-based information or instruction.
    • Background or experience in one or more of the following content areas a plus:
      • Technical Programming
      • Information Technology and/or Systems
  3. Software :
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Applications (Exchange, Power Point, and Excel.).
  4. Other:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
    • Capable of working with minimal supervision.
    • Interested in new technologies and instructional strategies.
 
 

Systems Developer



Reports to: Director of IT

Description

The Systems Developer’s role is to build the operations end of the organization’s Web sites and keep them running smoothly. This includes programming, building, and implementing new Web pages and sites; integrating sites with back end applications; migrating legacy applications to the Web; and performing day-to-day administration of the organization’s Web portfolio. Use of a variety of Web development languages is required. As a developer you will work closely with other developers and designers to drive the evolution and expansion of our App productions.


Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning
  • Participate is setting organizational Web development strategy.
  • Develop and communicate Web site usage and security policies and standards to all users.
  • Assist in establishing policies and procedures for publishing Web pages and applications in conjunction with content creators.
  • Conduct research into current and emerging Web technologies and issues in support of Web development efforts.


Position Requirements

  1. Formal Education & Certification:
    • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 5 years equivalent work experience.

  2. Knowledge & Technical Requirements:
    • Web In-depth knowledge of Web technologies, protocols, and tools
    • HTML 5 and prior
    • CSS 3 and prior
    • Javascript and jQuery
    • PHP
    • MySql
    • Apache
    • Video, Formats used for streaming and streaming protocols
    • iOS
    • iOS 5 Coding
    • iOS 4 Coding and prior
    • xCode coding with Storyboards and without
    • HLS Video Format (HTTP Live Streaming)
    • iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch Coding Experience
    • Thorough understanding of application development methodologies.
    • Experience with computer graphic and multimedia design a plus. Experience with Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Fireworks, Apple xCode.
    • Comprehensive experience with structuring, developing, and implementing interactive corporate Web sites.
    • Proven experience in installing, upgrading, and maintaining Web servers and associated operating systems.
    • Knowledge of database development, including MySQL. Experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements.

Regional Vice President/Facilitator



Job Summary

The role of Regional Vice President at Partners In Leadership is a combination of leadership consulting, sales, and training facilitation. The Regional Vice President will coordinate client development and generate sales, consult with business professionals in a wide array of industries and specialties, as well as provide training and consulting services to the client. The ideal candidate should have experience in leadership, sales, business development, coaching, training, group presentation and facilitation, and performance improvement. In addition, the Regional Vice President should be able to develop revenue in the seven figure range. The Regional Vice President will incorporate facilitation at all levels of an organization, from the organizational leader and senior executive team to entry-level employees. Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills are essential. The Regional Vice President must have high energy and a charismatic personality.


Job Qualifications

A Bachelors degree is required along with a minimum 3 to 5 years experience in the following areas:

Other job qualifications include:

Frequent travel required. This position offers a base salary plus commission: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), 401(k) match, and Profit Sharing are also offered.
