An experienced Partners In Leadership Executive Facilitator conducts this One-Day Public Workshop in an open-enrollment format, with the content designed for individual application by participants from a variety of companies and industries.

Public Workshop participants gain the understanding and tools necessary for creating greater accountability in their own organization. Throughout the day, they learn about and practice the skills, attitudes, and tools needed for taking the steps to See It, Own It, Solve It, Do It.® Participants learn how to avoid the Blame Game and operate Above The Line® to meet deadlines, overcome obstacles and deliver on expectations.

The workshop uses training technologies that accelerate learning, application and integration into daily work practices and real organizational issues. They include small group exercises, application discussions and large-group interactions. The workshop content is based on the bestselling book, The Oz Principle, and expands that content with additional examples, exercises and tools not found in the book.

Partners In Leadership Executive Facilitators introduce a new, positive view of accountability. Their empowering and motivating approach, captured in the Steps To Accountability, shows exactly what it means to operate Above The Line® and Below The Line.® Participants learn how to apply the See It, Own It, Solve It, Do It steps, as well as the associated best practices, in their daily work. They also practice the LIFT Accountability Coaching Model® which they can use to help peers, subordinates and others operate Above The Line.



See It®

Participants also learn how to use the popular The Results Pyramid® Model to create a Culture of Accountability.® They take the first step Above The Line and See It by learning how to give and receive feedback around achieving Key Organizational Results.

Own It®

Using the Levels of Ownership, participants learn how to help the people upon whom they depend to take greater ownership for achieving results. They practice the LIFT Accountability Coaching Model which they can use to help others operate Above The Line, as well as the Methodology for Changing Beliefs and the Leadership Alignment Process.

Solve It®

Workshop participants learn how to use the Solve It step to overcome obstacles and accelerate progress toward achieving Key Organizational Results. They also see how to apply the concept of Joint Accountability.

Do It®

Each participant translates the training into specific actions in the form of a Personal Accountability Plan. What does it cost to attend the Public Workshop?


Pricing is $399.00 per person. We're making you a special offer to bring a second person for FREE. So, if you brought 4 people to the workshop, you would pay 399.00 for two of them and the other two would come for free.

Do you have a discount program for large groups?


The public workshop 2-for-1 discount will be limited to no more than two discounts per company, per public workshop. Additional participants, beyond four, may attend at the group discount public workshop rate of $330 per person. Please contact our office for further questions 1-800-504-6070.

How long does the Workshop run?


Check-in: 8:00 am - 8:30 am
Workshop: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Lunch: 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm (Not included)

Does the session include breakfast and lunch?


Partners In Leadership provides a continental breakfast in the morning, but attendees must arrange for their own lunch.

What should I wear?


Business casual.

Will parking be validated?


Parking is the responsibility of the individual attending the workshop.

How do I get directions to the Workshop?


Partners In Leadership will send out hotel information via e-mail and/or a phone call. Please note that hotel information may not be confirmed if you register far in advance of the workshop.

Does the Workshop fee include a copy of The Oz Principle book?


Every workshop attendee will receive a full set of participant materials, which includes a copy of The New York Times Bestselling book The Oz Principle, a workbook, wall charts and pocket cards.

Are there any continuing education credits available?


Partners In Leadership Public Workshops are pre-approved for continuing education credits. After completion of a workshop, an attendee may contact Partners In Leadership to obtain the Program ID number for the workshop. For more information on continuing education, visit our HRCI or NASBA pages.

How does the Public Workshop differ from in-house workshops with an intact team?


Unlike the one-day intact team format, the public workshop allows organizations to train as few or as many individuals as they would like at a per participant rate. This workshop format is perfectly suited for small companies, organizations with budgetary constraints, companies that have hired new individuals since conducting the training in-house, or individuals who want to experience the One-Day Workshop firsthand prior to implementing the training in their own organization.

If I am unable to attend the Public Workshop are my fees refundable?


While registration fees are non-refundable, you may transfer your registration to another person within your company or you may apply it to another Partners In Leadership Public Workshop scheduled within the next 12 months.
